Keeping Behavior Classroom Appropriate

At Schoolhouse, we're building a community with people of many ages, cultures, and walks of life. To ensure that all interactions on the platform feel safe, comfortable and age-appropriate for everyone involved, it's important to keep what you share classroom appropriate—whether you're in a large session, a 1:1 sessions, a DM, or a post.

Here are some examples of behaviors that are not classroom appropriate, which we ask you to avoid in the Schoolhouse context:

Conversation about very personal or sensitive topics
Profane language
Highly revealing clothing
Cultural references with explicit themes

A good rule of thumb when you’re not sure if something is appropriate is to ask yourself: would I feel weird about sharing this in front of my class at school, with my teacher present? If you have additional questions to clarify this policy, please reach out to [email protected] for support.
