Tutor Attendance Policy

Schoolhouse is incredibly thankful to all our volunteer tutors! We understand that you are donating your time and you’re an essential part of our mission for learning. However, it can be very disappointing for learners to sign up for a session, anticipate receiving help, only to have their tutor not show up — and it hurts their learning too! For this reason, we do take attendance seriously.

SAT Bootcamp Attendance Policy

If a tutor does not join 15 minutes into a session, it is considered a tutor no-show.
2 no-shows in a row or 3 no-shows during your SAT bootcamp may result in your series getting cancelled and tutor privileges being revoked.
If you cannot commit to this policy, please cancel your series before it starts.
If you have an extenuating circumstance come up or accidentally miss a session, please follow these steps to make sure your learners can catch up on any missed content.

General Tutor Attendance Policy

If a tutor does not join/start tutoring 15 min into a session, it’s considered a tutor no-show.
Repeated no-shows may result in your ongoing sessions/series getting cancelled and tutor privileges being revoked.
If you cancel your session beforehand, it will not count as a tutor no-show.
If you find it hard to maintain a consistent schedule to host sessions, you can try responding to learners requests in help channels instead.
