What do I do if a learner misses my session?
It's normal for learners to sometimes miss session(s) as scheduling conflicts and extenuating circumstances may come up. Remember that learners have agreed to follow this attendance policy.
Learners will primarily use the “Submit Excused Absence” button on the series page to share when they can’t make it. If learners reach out to you in the chat, make sure to direct them to use this feature. As a tutor, you will be able to see Upcoming Excused Absences on your series “Members” page.
If a learner does miss a session (excused or unexcused), you should message them asking to use the Session Makeup Guide to catch up on the content they missed
If a learner has 2 unexcused absences, message them individually to see if they would like to stay in your bootcamp; if they do not want to stay or do not respond in 24 hours, go ahead and remove them from your series
